# Server-side, adblocker-proof conversion tracking

Full Signal Tracking gets through every adblocker. It runs on a unique endpoint on your own domain, and if that endpoint is ever blocked, it auto-rotates to a fresh one.

- [Configure adblocker-proof tracking](https://app.productmetrics.io/): Log in with Google, no credit card
- [Impact of ad blockers on revenue and profit](https://www.productmetrics.io/ad-blocker-conversion-tracking): Six blockers tested · no login

Switch the adblocker on. The default tag loses the order. Full Signal Tracking gets it through, with auto-rotation on standby.

## Google Ads can only bid on the purchases that reach it.

With the browser tag alone, adblockers and browser privacy keep part of them out.

Full Signal Tracking sends every one.

Nike Pegasus 42, last 30 days:

| | Purchases |
| --- | --- |
| Orders in your shop from Google Ads clicks | 55 |
| What Google Ads received from the browser tag | 41 |
| What Google Ads receives with Full Signal Tracking | 55 |

Same €2,000 spend, measured in Google Ads::

| | Browser tag alone | With Full Signal Tracking |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ROAS | 2.87 | 3.85 |
| POAS | 1.04 | 1.40 |
| Segment | Dogs | Question Marks |

## Better campaigns and more profitable growth.

_Illustrative data. Profit at 44% margin, excl. VAT; lifetime value, click ID and times are examples._

### Improve your campaign performance.

Smart Bidding only learns from what reaches Google Ads. Full Signal Tracking sends every purchase from your own domain, with its click ID.

- Higher measured ROAS on the same ad spend.

1. **Ad click.** gclid kept, 14:02
2. **Add to cart.** €139.99, 16:18
3. **Checkout.** Adblocker on, 19:41
4. **Purchase.** Sent to Google Ads, 19:46

### Make profitable growth decisions.

Every order reaches Google Ads as more than revenue. Bid on profit, new customers or lifetime value.

- Five conversion actions from every order.

Conversion actions in Google Ads, Nike Pegasus 42, last 30 days:

| Conversion action | Last 30 days |
| --- | --- |
| Revenue | €7,699.45 |
| Profit | €2,800.05 |
| New customers | 38 |
| Returning customers | 17 |
| Lifetime value | €23,100.00 |

## Your campaigns get credit for the sales they drove.

A purchase that never reaches Google Ads is credited to no campaign. Full Signal Tracking keeps the click ID first-party and server-side, so a purchase days later still lands on the campaign that won it.

Purchases in Google Ads, last 30 days (illustrative):

| Source | Conversion value |
| --- | --- |
| Also seen by the browser tag (41 purchases) | €5,739.59 |
| Only sent by Full Signal Tracking (14 purchases, blocked in the browser) | +€1,959.86 |
| Credited to your campaigns | €7,699.45 |

## Four parts replace fragile browser tags. A path you own, from ad click to conversion.

### A unique endpoint on your own domain

An opaque path on your shop domain, with no “collect”, “track” or “pixel” in it, so adblockers let it through.

`yourshop.com/x7Kq2mVd…`

### Auto-rotation keeps it reachable

If a blocker ever catches your endpoint, it rotates to a fresh one on your domain. No tag edits, no tickets.

`/x7Kq2mVd… → /Qm7vXt2L…`

### Click IDs that survive sessions

The gclid is kept first-party and server-side, so a later purchase still carries its click.

`gclid=Cj0KQ…x7Rw, kept`

### Server-side delivery to Google Ads

Purchases go from our server into your conversion actions, with Enhanced Conversions and Consent Mode v2. Refunds adjust later.

## Watch one order become your bidding signals. Product Metrics sets it all up and runs it.

- **Bid on profit, not revenue.** Smart Bidding optimises to margin, so low-margin products stop eating budget. (Pegasus 42: €50.91 profit per pair)
- **Pay more for new customers.** Every order is marked new or returning, so you can bid higher for first orders. (Pegasus 42 order: first-time buyer)
- **Bid for customers who come back.** Repeat buyers are valued by their lifetime value, not just their first basket. (This buyer: €420 expected over time)
- **Every product learns from its own sales.** Orders arrive with their products, so Shopping, PMax and segmentation learn per product. (Pegasus 42 credited with €139.99)

_Illustrative data. Profit (44% margin, excl. VAT), LTV, order ID and click ID are examples. Example with Nike products; Product Metrics is not affiliated with Nike, adidas or PUMA._

## Adblocker-proof, and consent still decides. Every conversion carries the visitor’s consent choice.

### What gets through with an adblocker on.

An adblocker stops the standard Google tags. Requests to your Full Signal endpoint still get through.

Adblocker test, blocker on (illustrative result):

| Request | Host | Result |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Google Ads tag | googleadservices.com | Blocked |
| Google tag | googletagmanager.com | Blocked |
| Third-party tracking domain | /collect on a shared host | Blocked |
| Full Signal endpoint | Your unique endpoint, /x7Kq2mVd9RtB4wLp | Passed |

_Illustrative result. Run the live test to see what your own browser blocks._

- [See the full adblocker benchmark](https://www.productmetrics.io/ad-blocker-conversion-tracking)

### Full signal, full consent.

First-party is not consent-free. Full Signal reads the visitor’s choice before sending anything. Auto-rotation changes the path, never the rules.

- Respects Consent Mode v2: ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization
- Works with Shopify Customer Privacy, Cookiebot, OneTrust, Usercentrics and Osano
- GDPR-ready: customer data is hashed before it leaves our server

## Questions PPC specialists ask. Anything else? Ask Berend.

### Is this the same as server-side GTM?

No. There is no container to host: Full Signal runs the endpoint on your domain, with rotation built in.

### Does Auto-rotation get around consent?

No. Rotation only swaps the endpoint path, never identities or IP addresses. Declined consent stays declined.

### Will I double-count next to my current tag?

No. The order ID is sent as the transaction ID, so Google Ads counts each order once.

### Which ad platforms receive the signal?

Google Ads: Performance Max, standard Shopping and any campaign bidding on your purchase conversion. The same signal feeds Product Segmentation.

### What does Full Signal Tracking cost?

Nothing extra. It is included in the Pro subscription and is not billed separately.

### Is Full Signal Tracking an attribution tool?

No. Product Metrics is not an attribution tool. Full Signal Tracking gets every purchase, with its click ID, into Google Ads.
