Channable prices a subscription as a package of items, projects and channels, plus a Core plan and optional modules. Insights needs Core Pro, and CSS costs €29 (Standard) or €99 (Pro) a month per active shop. Channable’s help centre does not list Core plan prices, so check channable.com/pricing. Its Shopify App Store listing shows Core Standard with CSS at $104 a month and Core Plus with CSS at $124 a month (billed every 30 days).

When is Channable the better choice?

Channable is the better choice when you need one tool for feeds across many channels, or when a CSS or marketplace repricing would pay for itself.

  • You send product data to Google, Meta, marketplaces and comparison sites and want one tool for the feeds.
  • You sell on bol or Amazon and want the Repricer to adjust prices there.
  • You advertise in the EEA and want the CSS saving: Producthero advertises 20% lower CPC.
  • You want to automate Search, Shopping and sponsored product ads from feed data with the PPC module.
  • Rule-based labels you configure yourself are enough, and Core Pro is within budget.

When is Product Metrics the better choice?

Product Metrics is the better choice when the question is which products deserve budget in Google Shopping and Performance Max, and you want ML to answer it.

  • You sell high-volume, low-margin products and need POAS to check whether strong ROAS also produces profit.
  • You want ML segments rather than four rule-based ones, split into six so medium-return and no-return products are not mixed.
  • You need competitor prices for your own-brand products without a shared GTIN.
  • You want margin, stock and the customer journey next to each product before you decide.
  • You want full tracking that gets through every ad blocker, included in Pro.

Can you use Product Metrics and Channable together?

Yes. Channable keeps your feeds and channels, and Product Metrics writes its labels to Merchant Center directly.

Keep one segmentation logic per campaign structure, so Insights segments and Product Metrics labels do not drive the same campaigns.

How do you get started with Product Metrics?

Connect your accounts, review your products and approve the labels you want to use. You can keep an existing feed tool or CSS.

  1. Step 1

    Connect your accounts

Log in with Google and connect Google Ads, Merchant Center and your shop. GA4 is optional.

  2. Step 2

    Review segments and product context

Review the six ML segments alongside competitor prices, margin, stock and journeys. Use ROAS first, or POAS once margins are connected.

  3. Step 3

    Approve your labels

Choose which labels reach Merchant Center. If another tool writes labels, give each tool its own custom-label slot.

What else do people ask about Product Metrics and Channable?

How much does Channable cost?

Channable prices a subscription as a package of items, projects and channels, plus a Core plan (Standard, Plus or Pro) and optional modules. Packages start at 500 items, 1 project and 3 channels, and users are unlimited. Insights needs Core Pro. Channable CSS costs €29 a month (Standard) or €99 a month (Pro) per active shop. Channable’s help centre does not list Core plan prices, so check channable.com/pricing. Its Shopify App Store listing shows Core Standard with CSS at $104 a month and Core Plus with CSS at $124 a month (billed every 30 days). Product Metrics costs a share of your Shopping spend, and the first €10K is free.

Does Channable have a free trial?

Yes, in a limited form. Channable’s free trial account includes 0 active items, so you can set up projects and channels but cannot activate a channel without a subscription. Product Metrics offers a free analysis with no credit card, then a 30-day trial that needs a credit card.

Does Channable support POAS?

Yes, for Google Ads. Insights lists POAS %, gross profit and net profit once you set POAS up manually. The difference from Product Metrics is the method: Insights uses rule thresholds you configure, while Product Metrics uses ML across six segments and adds own-brand competitor prices, stock and journeys.

Does Channable monitor competitor prices?

Partly. Price Benchmark in CSS Pro is a per-product, click-weighted benchmark from Google Merchant Center. The Repricer adjusts prices on bol and Amazon only, needs Marketplaces Standard and is a paid add-on. Channable does not state own-brand matching publicly. Product Metrics matches your own-brand products to competitors’ without a shared GTIN.

What are the main Channable alternatives and competitors?

It depends on the job. For feed management, DataFeedWatch is a direct alternative. For a Google CSS with labels but without the full feed platform, there is Channable CSS (formerly Producthero), though it is a Channable product, not an independent alternative. For deciding which Shopping products to push, fix or pause, Product Metrics is the alternative, and it works alongside a feed tool.
